The report issued by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO to undertake urgent changes in food production methods to overcome the problem of high prices that threaten the impoverishment of millions of people.

The report recommended the adoption procedures to better protect natural resources and agricultural ways of using more harmonize with the environment, such as reliance on local production instead of importing crops from distant places.
